Nakita Bowman
Nakita Bowman, a 25 year old Texas native, is a young aspiring engineer and entrepreneur. As a freshman coming into college, she received a full ride scholarship from Prairie View A&M University, as well as other scholarships totaling over $15,000. In her 25 years, she has toured the world; her travels including China, Europe, and Africa, to name a few. During her senior year in college prior to graduation, she studied for finals while simultaneously pondering over not one, but four job offers at different companies in her field around the country. After graduating from Prairie View A&M University in the Fall of 2008, she took on a full time engineering job in Boston, Massachusetts.
To date, in addition to being flown around the country to represent the company at different events and conventions; Ms. Bowman has received one of the top awards the company has to offer, Excellence in Quality and Operations Award. This prestigious decoration given was awarded through her Quality Talent Development Program.
Very outgoing and spiritual, she loves to work for the people. Currently structuring her own organization appropriately entitled, Outside Looking In Enterprises; her aim is to give a voice to those whom otherwise go unheard. She is crossing the world educating about how our people, young and old, can go to school and get training otherwise thought to be out of reach. Assisting in the empowerment and self esteem of girls and young women, she also administers workshops affording a platform for the ‘forgotten ones’.

My take on Life
In order to fully live creatively, you have to let go of the fear of being wrong.
Everywhere you go there is an experience, an opportunity to create a memory. These memories are events. The accumulation of events, that's life. Stop, smell the flowers. Go outside, enjoy the sunset. Really feel the cool water on your face as you shower. Love as if there is no tomorrow. This life is no practice, this is the championship game!
Whatever your passion, follow it. Make a career out of it, make a business doing it, or teach someone else how to do it. After going to Egypt, seeing the massive monuments my ancestors made, I know that I can accomplish all things through my Creator, and the creativity, drive, and intellect that was given to me. As much as I believe in me, I believe in you. If you do not believe in you, borrow my faith or your support group's faith until you find your own. I know you can do great things, you just have to start. Follow your instincts. Go! Go left. If you are wrong, turn around and go right. Eventually you will end up where you are supposed to be.
When you are on your path, the stars align and all will fall into place.
